So exciting! I just gave Ariana Grande’s new album, Sweetener, a first listen and YAAAAAAAASSSS!!! My soul needed this to be good, and she did not disappoint me.

I was concerned when she came out with the first two singles, no tears left to cry and that other one with Nicki Minaj, but then she gave us God is a woman and I gave her my full attention.

Sweetener has my zaddy Pharrell’s fingerprints all over it, includes bangers (high key and low key ones), and finally gives us a little taste (excuse the pun) of her lower register. At this point, I have only listened to this album once, but I have a feeling I will be listening for the rest of this week, month, year… and beyond. Thanks Ari!
